Good news! Talked to Doc this afternoon and Zen�s been eating for two days now! She�s on some sort of special diet with an appetite stimulant, but she�s eating! He�s still cautious, of course, but amazed at her rate of recovery. They�re testing her every two hours and all her blood work�s coming back in the normal range; numbers that were triple what they should have been over the weekend. He seems to think that it was pushing fluids to her manually might have done the trick, so tomorrow will tell the tale: they�ll take her off the IV fluids and see what happens. Should she keep on keepin� on, she might be home as early as Thursday night. Because her recovery has been so out of the ordinary, he�s going to do an x-ray of her abdomen to make sure there�s nothing else going on like a tumor or some such nonsense. In the event that things take a downturn tomorrow, she will have to have the tube surgery, most likely in her neck.So whatever you�ve been doin�, keep doin� it.
